The Navajo, or Diné as they call themselves, are one of the largest Indigenous tribes in the United States, primarily residing in the Southwest, including regions of Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico. The Navajo Nation spans over 27,000 square miles, making it the largest land area retained by a Native American tribe in the U.S. Rich in culture, spirituality, and tradition, the Navajo people have thrived for centuries, preserving their unique language, customs, and worldview despite historical challenges.
Navajo spirituality is deeply connected to the natural world, emphasizing harmony and balance. Their worldview is holistic, perceiving all elements—humans, animals, plants, land, sky, and the cosmos—as interconnected.
